TL:DR – In school we learn to write, but we don’t learn the multi discipline “video”
When we think about doing our own marketing as a small company, text might be the easiest catch, because we write almost everyday. It’s something we learned in school – we are alphabets and not analphabets.
Is there someting like a anvideographer? Video requieres multiple tasks. Apart from a videocyamera and a computer for editing (or a mobile, which can do both in a limited way) you need do know how to shoot, set light, record audio, edit, sound mix and color grade. There over also need skills in story telling and for the activation of a video knowledge on coding, SEO and marketing.
Sounds like a lot? Yes it is, but it’s all things which might not be that hard, once you approached step by step.
Will the future school have a subject called video or media creation. I bet so, as with technology we expand our skills and making a video in 20 years, will be the same as writing a product description.
